Francis Wyman Music Department
December 10, 2009
Dear Fourth and Fifth grade parent,
Your child will be performing in the Francis Wyman Winter Concert on Monday, December 21st, 2009 at 7 p.m. All fourth and fifth grade students will be singing and the fourth and fifth grade Bands will be performing. All students should wear dark pants/ bottoms (black, dark blue, brown) and a red shirt for the 7 p.m. concert. Santa hats are also welcome.
They will also be performing in school that day, but do not need to wear the concert attire for the school day. All 4th and 5th grade band students should arrive at 6:30 p.m. to warm-up before the concert. Fourth grade band members will report to Mrs. Gendron’s music room. Fifth grade band members will report to Mrs. Peabody’s music room. All other fourth grade Chorus members will report to Mrs. Finkle’s art room. All other fifth grade Chorus members will report to Mrs. Kerr’s art room.
We would like to have 3-4 CORIED parents from each grade help us with supervision of the chorus members while the Bands are performing. If you would be willing to help us with this, please call or email Lindsey Peabody. Thank you. If you have any other questions, feel free to call or email-

This month is all about Thanksgiving and Native Americans.
The Fourth and Fifth Grade is also working on their winter concert music.
Check out the links for “Dona Nobis” and “Winter Fantasy.”
Good luck to all the Third Graders
on Monday, November 16.
You know it’s the time of year,
when the witches and ghosts appear.
They come at night when there’s no more light.
Halloween is almost here!
If you look very carefully,
there’s a goblin behind that tree.
But, I must say don’t you run away,
’cause it might be me!
After finishing October’s Halloween songs, we move forward to November’s goals.
